First Blog as an intern

 Hii Everyone, 

     My name is Snigdha Nath. This blog will include my experience as an intern at Parijat Academy.

On March 2, 2023, me along with a team of 3 more members started our journey to Parijat Academy as interns. On the moment when we reached there, we met with Ar. Prachurya Baruah, the creative director of Parajit Trust and also one of the trustee, and Uttam sir, Who started this Academy, both of them were very open hearted person and also greeted us very well. My group and I went for a little tour of Parijat Academy guided by Ar. Prachurya Baruah himself. Parijat named after the night flower, also known as Night Jasmine. We got to know that, Sir Uttam Teron, started with just 4 students in the year 2003. And now it doesn't only support the under-privileged students for their education but also assist in the economic development of the community people of about 12 to 15 villages of Garbhanga forest area by providing different types of skill training and handloom facility, which was funded by a person from United States (US). Till now, more than 3000 students have been benefited from Parijat Academy and are able to educate more than 500 students every year without spending a single penny from their pocket from primary classes to higher studies with hostel facilities for both girls and boys consisting around 75 students in the hostel, where most of the students are from Garbhanga Area. There is also a guest house which was donated by Friends of Assam and Seven Sisters (FASS). I spend a fun day and learned lot of things. We also distributed some chocolates among the students and tried to interact with them.
